New Role for Kucinch

Dennis Kucinich has been appointed the Chairman of the newly created Domestic Policy Subcommittee of Government Oversight.

The following is from Kucinich's statement:

"This week Rep. Henry Waxman Chairman of the Committee on Government Oversight of the United States House of Representatives, with the approval of members of the full committee, created a new subcommittee, one with the broadest oversight authority of any subcommittee in the federal government, with jurisdiction over all Domestic Policy in the United States. With the support of all 23 democrats on the committee, I have been selected to be the Chairman."
